We had a great stay at the Hyatt Union Square. We were in town to tour NYU and Parsons. This is a great location if you want to visit those schools. It's an easy walk over to either school. The front desk staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. I was expecting a small room because NYC. The room was small but big enough for our family of four. The bathroom has a sliding door that separates the toilet so that two people can use the bathroom at the same time. Very helpful. The beds were comfortable. We ate breakfast at the hotel restaurant. The food and service were good. It's a pricey breakfast if you're not on an expense account. Luckily we had free breakfast with our Hyatt points.

My favorite place to stay in NYC. Location is central to all the great restaurants and shopping. Staff here make you feel at home. They go the extra step to make it a memorable stay. Jazz bar is definitely a plus. Drinks are strong, vibe is cool and food is delish. Gym is clean and has all the essential equipment to keep you in shape.

Convenient location and very quiet rooms despite being in the middle of a busy neighborhood. Lovely water pressure in shower. Felt like a spa. The only thing I didn't love was the elevators. There were two elevators and twice the 2nd elevator was stuck on one floor. This was only a problem when it was time to check out since everyone is leaving around the same time.
